Note (General): 【那珂遺跡群第136次】今回の調査で検出された遺構は、甕棺墓９基・土壙３基・柱穴・ピット多数である。甕棺墓は成人棺５・小児棺４。土壙はうち２基がいわゆる祭祀土壙となる時期は中期中葉頃とみられる。その他一方の壁面を掘り込み横穴を付設するものがあるが、遺物が僅少で詳細な時期は不明。また、遺構検出面としたローム層には黒褐色土が堆積し、須恵器を多く含む。今回の調査では、多くの甕棺墓・古代の土壙など多くの遺構を検出した。調査区壁面の観察から、甕棺墓掘り方は前述の黒褐色土層に達せず、須恵器大甕を据えた土壙SX09はその上面から掘り込まれる。通常１ｍ近くである鳥栖ロームは30～40ｃｍ程度で下部の砂質土層に達することから、調査地一帯は古代でも古い段階でロームを大きく削り込んだ上で盛り土作業を含む整地がなされ、大きな平坦面が造成された可能性が高い。【那珂遺跡群第137次】今回の調査地は那珂遺跡群の中央部、遺跡が乗る丘陵の最高所付近に位置する。標高約10ｍを測り、南に面する道路面から１ｍ前後高くなる。遺構面は現地表面下-50～60ｃｍ、明褐色ローム上とした。検出された遺構は、甕棺墓１基・土壙１基である。甕棺墓は小型棺の範疇のものである。土壙は小規模であったがガラス小玉がまとまって出土し、特異な様相を示す。また、遺構検出面としたローム上には黒褐色度が堆積し、須恵器を多く含む。今回の調査では、甕棺墓やガラス小玉を有する土壙など重要な遺構を検出した。調査区壁面の観察から、甕棺墓掘り方は前述の黒褐色土層に達せず、136次調査検出の土師器大甕を据えた土壙はその上面から掘り込まれる。通常１ｍ近くある鳥栖ロームを大きく削り込んだ上で盛り土作業を含む整地がなされ、大きな平坦面が造成された可能性が高い。【那珂遺跡群第138次】近世から現代まで継承された水路の肩と13世紀代の井戸２基が検出された。井戸からは７世紀代の初期瓦が出土した。【那珂遺跡群第140次】検出された遺構は大溝の肩部と柱穴３基のみである。現状でトスロームの下部まで削平されていたので消滅した遺構が多いものとみられる。溝の上部は近世にかけて埋没したものであるが、掘削時期は遡る可能性がある。この溝は第94次調査から現状の道路に沿って本調査区まで延長しているものと考えられその区画が現在まで継承されている可能性がある。
