Note (General): 各調査区の遺構面は、鎌倉時代から江戸時代に至る水田耕作土層を主体として、遺構検出面は、１面のみが確認できた。遺構の主だったものとして、鎌倉～室町時代の土坑・自然流路・湿地状地形（落ち込み）などを、13-1区では水田耕作に伴う小溝群を検出すると共に、一部で地震による液状化の噴砂を確認した。なお、一部の地区において人間・牛の足跡と考えられる踏み込み遺構を多数検出した。　出土遺物の大半は、遺物包含層（旧水田耕作土）や自然流路から出土した鎌倉時代の土器類で占められるが、室町時代の土器類も少量ある。その他、弥生土器の石鏃・砂岩製台石、奈良時代の土師器・須恵器・瓦がある。また、弥生時代と考えられるサヌカイト製剥片が複数出土した。また、13-2・3区は、今次の調査では最も南側に位置する地区である。1995年3月発行の『藤並地区遺跡発掘調査報告書』掲載のM地区南東隅の東隣に位置する。M地区南東隅からは旧石器が多数出土しており、今回の調査でも旧石器の出土が予想された。しかし、13-3区では、旧石器の出土する対応層を確認したものの、旧石器は出土しなかった。これらのことから、『藤並地区遺跡発掘調査報告書』掲載のM地区での旧石器の出土は、かなり限定された範囲にしか存在しない可能性が高いと考えられる。
