Note (General)：: 石垣を作る際、南側は岩盤上に置き、北側には安定するまで結晶片岩の平らな石を重ねて置いたものと考えられる。松など木を置くことはしていない。これは、城の石垣に比べて三断橋の石垣は5～6段と低く、重量も軽いためと考えられる。
