[押上１遺跡要約] 縄文時代後期前葉の集落。盛土遺構が検出された。竪穴住居跡は、大きく１類：舟形、２類：楕円形があり、２類は袖石の有無で細別された。旧上磯町教育委員会による過年度の調査成果も含め、縄文時代中期末要から後期前葉の集落の変遷が、土器型式、住居形態、土層堆積状況などから明らかとなった。住居形態が大きく変化し、集落が「集住」から「散住」に変遷する過程をみることができる。土器は、99％以上後期前葉のもの。剥片石器は、頁岩製主体。頁岩産地のため、多数の石核がある。
