Note (General): 高島遺跡は、富山市北東部に位置し、常願寺川左岸の自然堤防上に立地する。　調査では、砂層の地山から溝2条、土坑12基、不明遺構2基を確認した。後世の削平により、包含層は確認出来なかった。出土遺物から、検出遺構は13世紀～14世紀、16世紀後半～17世紀の2時期に大別されると考えられる。ただし、流れ込みと考えられるが、遺構から須恵器や珠洲といった古様相の遺物が出土していることから、遺構の時期が遡る可能性がある。　今回の調査区では、13世紀～14世紀頃に耕作地として機能した後、16世紀末～17世紀にかけて人々が生活を営む様子が想定される。　周辺の遺跡に注目すると、今回の調査で確認した時期の直前で廃絶する中世の集落遺跡が散在する。これらのことから、高島遺跡は戦乱が収束した時期に営まれた新しい集落であると考えられる。
