Note (General): 調査は、個人住宅建築に係る緊急発掘調査である。　調査区の中央から東側は近現代に削平されており、西側にのみ往時の遺物包含層が残存している。グスク時代の遺構と考えられる小穴や土壙、近世～近現代の遺構と考えられる埋甕遺構や石組遺構、溝状落ち込み、小穴などを検出した。さらに、調査区中央から西側へ急に落ち込む状況が確認でき、地形的な状況から、グスク時代の切岸であると想定する。また、調査区西側では、焼土や炭を含む層を交互に重ねた造成の後が確認され、耕作地を設けていた可能性が考えられる。　遺物は、グスク時代相当期の層よりカムィヤキ、グスク土器、13～15世紀代の中国産陶磁器、沖縄産陶器、獣骨等が出土した。　結果として、当該地はグスク時代から現代まで連綿と利用されていたことが確認された。
