Note (General): 与曽内遺跡の遺跡範囲の南東縁辺部を調査した。弥生時代から江戸時代までの複合遺跡である。主体となるのは，近世の遺構であるが，弥生時代のピット群と奈良時代の竪穴建物跡が確認できた。調査位置から，古代の集落は，今回の調査区域よりも北東の台地中央部へ広がるものと予想される。庚申塚は，石造物や出土遺物から18世紀に構築されたと推測される。また，塚の裾部から墓坑が３基確認でき，墓石の記年銘から，塚構築後に埋葬されたものと推測される。２基の墓石に記された「生國備前國」，「越□」から，被葬者の出自は，他国の人物であることが確認できた。このことから，庚申塚の脇への埋葬は，縁者のない人を埋葬する場として庚申塚の脇へ埋葬することで供養できるようにしたものと推測される。
