国指定史跡及び名勝西山御殿跡（西山荘）の指定地内にある管理事務所の建替工事を行うため、確認調査を実施した。調査の結果、江戸時代に描かれた絵図である『桃源遺事』の「西山ノ図」にもみられる水田の畦畔を補強するために打たれたと思われる杭列が確認された。史資料と確認調査により当時の西山御殿前の水田の様相の一...
