Note (General): 本遺跡は縄文時代早期～古墳時代の複合遺跡で，各時代の貴重な遺構や遺物が確認されている。　今回報告する縄文時代早期及び縄文時代後期以降については，縄文時代早期の遺構・遺物が注目される。特に縄文時代早期の埋設土器は，当時の人々の精神文化を考えるうえで貴重な資料となるものである。また，調理施設と考えられる18基の集石遺構や，食材加工のための石匙，狩猟具である多数の石鏃の出土状況から，本遺跡はキャンプサイト的な役割を担っていたものと推測され，周辺遺跡との比較検討をすることで，当時の人々の行動範囲・生活のあり方の考察に有効な情報を得ることができた。
