Note (General): 古代会津郡衙推定地である会津若松市の郡山遺跡周辺に位置する官衙関連遺跡群である。数棟の掘立柱建物跡と井戸跡から構成される平安時代前期の建物群が複数確認された。建物跡群の近傍には同時期の流路跡が検出され、それぞれの建物跡群から廃棄されたと考えられる遺物がまとまって出土した。建物跡群の出現以前には複数の溝跡が存在することも判明した。出土遺物には、緑釉陶器、墨書人面土器などが含まれる。前年度の調査成果とあわせ、古代会津郡衙推定遺跡である郡山遺跡の周辺に、同時期の遺跡群が広がっていることが明らかとなった。
