Note (General): [ポンアヨロ4遺跡要約] 　ポンアヨロ４遺跡は、ポンアヨロ川左岸に位置する縄文早期・中期を主体とする集落遺跡で、これまでに計3,789\0の発掘調査が行われ、今回は第３次調査である。蛇行する旧河道が広域を占め、河岸段丘からは縄文早期に形成されたと見られる小土坑や焼土が検出された。遺物は合計4,867点出土したが、半数以上は黒曜石のフレイクチップ集中である。土器は縄文早期中茶路式が主体だが、東釧路\0式のまとまった資料もある。定形的石器では、石斧が４点重なって出土したものがある。 [虎杖浜2遺跡要約] 虎杖浜２遺跡は、縄文時代前期中ごろの貝塚を有する集落遺跡である。昨年度までに計10,880平方メートルの発掘調査が行われ、今回は第７次調査であり、遺跡の北西端部が調査区である。縄文前期前半が主体で、検出された焼土やフレイクチップ集中１ヵ所は小規模な作業場の跡とみられる。遺物は合計4,470点出土した。土器は縄文前期春日町式を主体とする。格子目状の押型文土器を伴うことが特筆される。剥片石器の石材は、これまでの調査と異なり黒曜石が主体である。
