Note (General): 最も古い時期の遺構としては、弥生時代前期後半の2基の貯蔵穴を検出した。尾根の頂部に近い本調査区で検出されたことは、当時の土地利用の在り方を考える上で興味深い。弥生時代の遺構としては土坑、小穴等がある。遺構の多くは、7世紀から8世紀代のものと考えられるが、遺物は小片で少なく時期の比定は難しい。古墳時代後期から平安時代の始め頃までの遺構群とみられる。また、8~9世紀のものと考えられる。 2棟の掘立柱建物が調査区の東側で確認できた。これは、本調査区の東側隣接地で実施された第166次調査区で確認された掘立柱建物群と主軸方位がほぼ同じであり、さらに東側で実施されている第67次調査でも同様の主軸方位の建物が検出されている。これらは、同時期の建物群としてまとまりをもつものとみられ、この時期の集落や建物群の展開を考えるうえで重要な成果である。また、本調査でも多くはないが、鉄滓が出士しており、この周辺で、鉄の加工・鍛冶が行われていた可能性があり、今後の周辺での調査成果も期待される。
