Note (General): 標高3.0m前後の黄灰色砂上面で検出した遺構は11世紀前半の井戸2基・溝2条、調査区南東で検出した溝SD03/04は幅0.5mの平行する東西溝で、SD03は延長12m検出した。土坑は12世紀前半と12世紀後半のものを検出した。調査区北東端で12c後半の井戸SE13、東端で15世紀前半の幅1.8m、断面V字の南北溝SD12を延長5m検出した。柱穴・ピット状遺構は古墳時代前期、11c前半から13c後半にかけてのものを40個検出した。黄灰色下面からは時期不明の炭化物が充満する土坑1・覆土に赤色顔料を含む土坑1 ・溝状遺構1 を検出した。11 世紀前半の井戸SE01/07 からは黒色土器椀•土師器杯・白磁碗片・越州窯青磁碗片、斜格子叩きの瓦片が出土した。12世紀前半の土坑SK05からは広東系白磁皿片・東播系須恵器椀片・鉄鎌が出土した。12世紀後半の土坑SK14/15からは完形の土師器小皿・杯が出土した。箱崎遺跡では道路遺構や区画溝などの中世以降の町割に関わる遺構の検出例が少なく、貴重な例である。
