Note (General): 弥生時代前期末～中期初頭、および弥生時代後期の水田面を検出した。古墳時代の遺構は希薄であったが、土器や木器を多く含む流路を検出した。古代前半では北流する自然流路を条里型地割として利用するにあたり、それを直線化した経緯をとらえることができた。中世以降は島畠を含めた水田経営の変遷をとらえた。出土遺物は細片化したものが多かったが、その中で比較的まとまって弥生時代前期ならびに古墳時代・奈良時代の土器が出土した。
