Note (General): 今回の調査では縄文時代後期後葉～晩期中葉の河川を検出した。河川からは、宮滝式、滋賀里Ⅰ式～Ⅲ式の土器に混じって、早期押型文土器や中期・後期の土器が出土した。河川は晩期中葉には埋没、放棄流路化していたと考えられる。なお、この河川は旧大和川の分流路である可能性が考えられる。　その後、縄文時代晩期末には土砂の供給が安定し、古代までの土坑や溝、ピットなどの遺構を検出した。遺構は複数の時期のものを含んでおり、散漫な状況で集落の縁辺といった様相を示す。なお、特筆すべき遺物として、「博」と墨書された須恵器杯蓋があげられる。　古代～中世は複数の耕作面を検出した。耕作地は条里に規制されたいわゆる条里型水田で、南北方向に長い長地型の区画が11世紀ごろより踏襲されていることが分かった。最古の条里型水田面は10世紀に遡る可能性もあり、今後の坪境での調査での検討が必要である。
