Note (General): 上記4遺跡において、丘陵部の調査では墓域を5箇所、谷部の調査では集落域を8箇所検出した。墓域では、中世墓、長方形墓（キリシタン墓）、近世墓を300基余り検出した。墓域は、中世墓を中心とする墓域（千提寺西遺跡3・4区）、近世墓を中心とする墓域（千提寺西遺跡5区・同6区・千提寺市阪遺跡2区）、中世墓と近世墓が混在する墓域（千提寺クルス山遺跡1区）に大別できる。長方形墓（キリシタン墓）は、上部に石組をもち、キリシタン墓と判断する根拠となった。長方形墓（キリシタン墓）は、千提寺西遺跡3・4区では中世墓に混在し、千提寺西遺跡5区、千提寺市阪遺跡2区では独立した墓域を形成し、千提寺クルス山遺跡1区では両者の中庸の状態で検出しており、このような多様な長方形墓（キリシタン墓）のあり方は、キリスト教受容に際しての状況をうかがう資料として重要である。集落域では、掘立柱建物からなる居住域と棚田を検出し、千提寺西遺跡7区では古代末、千提寺市阪遺跡1区では古代末～中世を中心とする集落を確認した。
