Note (General): [野口遺跡要約] 一般国道24号京奈和自動車道（橋本道路）の建設工事に先立ち、1998年度から2004年度にかけて橋本市内に所在する４遺跡で発掘調査を実施した。 [北馬場遺跡要約] 一般国道24号京奈和自動車道（橋本道路）の建設工事に先立ち、1998年度から2004年度にかけて橋本市内に所在する４遺跡で発掘調査を実施した。　北馬場遺跡では、縄紋時代から江戸時代にいたる各時代の遺構を検出した。縄紋時代中期の土坑は埋甕遺構の可能性がある。掘立柱建物は主として鎌倉時代の中世集落の一部を形成するものである。　 [柏原遺跡要約] 一般国道24号京奈和自動車道（橋本道路）の建設工事に先立ち、1998年度から2004年度にかけて橋本市内に所在する４遺跡で発掘調査を実施した。　柏原遺跡では、弥生時代中期の竪穴住居・方形周溝墓、飛鳥時代の竪穴住居・掘立柱建物・土壙墓・土器墓棺・石棺墓、中世の土壙墓、近世の土坑等を検出した。方形周溝墓は弥生時代に属するものとしては県内の遺跡で最も検出数が多い。出土遺物には、縄紋時代及び弥生時代の土器や石器、古墳時代から中世にかけての土器や陶磁器類、近世の鋳型・溶解炉片等がある。また、2003年度の調査で方形周溝墓の周溝埋土上層から県内では出土例の少ない土偶が出土している。
