[郷桜井堀遺跡2次 要約] 　浜堤状の微高地上に営まれた集落である。弥生時代では遠賀川系土器がまとまって出土した。古墳時代以降、中世にかけての遺物が出土しているが、古代遺物は希少で、国分尼寺との関連を想起させるような痕跡は認められない。中世では12世紀後半から13世紀前半頃の遺物が多い。遺構は土坑の...
