[春日二丁目西遺跡 要約] 遺跡は、武蔵野台地の東端の小日向台地南東部で、舌状に延びる大地の先端部に位置する。遺跡の南側は神田川に沿った沖積低地、西側は茗荷谷の谷、東側は小さな谷に囲われている。調査により江戸時代の初めに谷を埋めて屋敷地を造成したことが明らかとなった。旧地形の谷の南側から、旧石器時代...
