Note (General): [大道東遺跡要約] 縄文時代から平安時代の複合遺跡。弥生時代以降の特徴的な遺構としては、東山道駅路や300軒に及ぶ竪穴住居がある。今回報告分の調査区では、古墳時代後期から平安時代にかけての住居が146軒検出されており、古墳時代後期の住居の中には、玉作工房跡と考えられるものもある。遺物も多量に出土しており、特に須恵器は、焼成時に破損したと考えられる破片も出土していて、遺跡南西方向にある金山丘陵に存在する須恵器窯跡との関連も想定できる。。
