Note (General): [高玉遺跡要約] 調査区は標高22m以上で周辺と比較してやや小高く、現況は宅地や畑地となっている。近世の屋敷跡が検出され3期重複の掘立柱建物跡と井戸跡を検出した。また、焚口・燃焼部・煙道によって形成されるカマド状遺構18基が検出された。遺物が伴わないため性格や時期は不明である。12世紀のかわらけが出土することから柱穴群の中には12世紀のものもある可能性がある。高玉地区は低地に立地しているが水運を考えれば12世紀「平泉」が低地にまで広がりを持っていた可能性がある。
