Note (General): [榎戸横穴群要約] １・２号横穴墓は、残存状況が悪く、不明な点も残るが、位置関係及び形状・構造などから横穴墓と判断した。３〜６号横穴墓は平面形態が台形で、３・５号は棺室を有する。形態的特徴や位置関係から、３・４号、５・６号という２基１単位の小群に分けることも可能であろうか。横穴墓の玄室平面形態は三浦半島地域のなかで普遍的ながら、付帯施設は鎌倉群を中心とした地域の要素を含む。本横穴墓群が三浦半島の付け根に位置し、鎌倉群ともほど近いという遺跡の位置関係が影響していると推測されよう。
