Note (General): [三ッ俣遺跡（I地区）５要約] 三ッ俣遺跡１２地点（Ｉ地区）は森戸川旧流路西岸の自然堤防上に立地し、弥生時代中期から後期、古墳時代、奈良・平安時代・中世から近世と複数の時代にわたって遺構・遺物が確認された。特に沖積微高地上で、小規模ながら円墳により構成される古墳群の存在が認められたことで、県内における他の地域での同時期の調査事例との比較検証を行う上で貴重な資料である。他の時代の遺構も含めて、本県の自然堤防上に展開する遺跡相を解明する上で良好な資料として評価できる。
