Note (General): [跡堀遺跡要約] 跡堀遺跡は相模川の左岸、河口から約11の沖積平野の自然堤防上に位置してる。近世の遺構は、溝状遺構や井戸址、水田址など耕作に関連するものものと墓坑が発見されており、年代的には宝永降灰前後の時期の遺物を伴うものが多い。中世では、礎板を持つ堀立柱建物址を含むピット群や区画溝それに井戸など、住居関連の遺構が北東部で発見され、それに伴いそれに伴い青磁・青白磁や渥美産陶器などが出土している。それ以外の地区は比較的遺構密度が低い。12世紀代からの遺物が出土しているが、遺構の中心は14〜15世紀と考えれる。奈良・平安時代には10世紀代の竪穴住居址や堀立柱建物それに井戸址などの遺構が発見され、それに伴い遺物も出土している。しかし、遺構はかなりの削平を受けており、遺在状態は悪かった。弥生時代〜古墳時代前期は遺構・遺物とも少なく、遺構は土坑と溝状遺構が発見されたにとどまる。
