[氷川遺跡要約] 　氷川遺跡は、武蔵野台地の平坦面に立地し、目黒川流域に位置する遺跡である。縄文時代では、早期の炉穴や土坑、早期前半の土器・石器が多数出土したことから、早期前半から生活領域として利用されていたものと考えられる。古墳時代では、前期の住居跡が相次いで発見され、大規模な集落遺跡であることが判明した。遺構は、住居跡は16軒、倉庫と推定される掘立柱建物跡が1棟であった。調査地点が台地中央部であるにもかかわらず遺構密度は高く、台地縁辺部にはさらに多くの住居跡等が存在すると推定される。古代では、平安時代の火葬墓が検出された。その中からは、板状鉄製品が出土しており、副葬されたものと考えられる。他に、近世の土坑から成人人骨2体が検出された。
