Note (General): [猿楽遺跡要約] 本遺跡は渡良瀬川右岸の微高地上に立地している。古墳時代後期から終末期にいたる群集墳の一部を調査し、円墳7基と竪穴式小石槨1基を検出した。1号墳は直径22ｍの小円墳であるにもかかわらず、多条突帯の円筒埴輪や双脚表現の人物埴輪が樹立されていた。平安時代の集落は台地縁辺に展開していたと考えられる。掘立柱建物2棟は平安時代の集落に先行するもので、そのうちの1棟は総柱建物である。これらは周辺集落の動向と含め検討されるべきものである。
