Note (General): [入江内湖遺跡要約] 国道８号米原バイパス建設に伴い、旧入江内湖に南北二つの調査区を設けた結果、縄文時代前期中葉までのアシ原状の湿地や河道、縄文時代中期後葉ないし後期初頭の三角州・砂浜だと考えられる包含層を重層的に検出し、石錘や土器片錘、ヤスや釣針を用いた漁労や、木製漆塗り容器の製作・使用・廃棄、丸木舟の利用などといった諸活動の痕跡を確認した。また、縄文時代前期中葉の深鉢内部に炭化して固着した球根や、西日本の内陸部ではきわめて稀なマグロ属椎骨の出土も確認した。なお、漆塗り容器や丸木舟は全国的に見ても古い段階のものである。釣針は関西地方では最も古いものである。また、北調査区では弥生時代の土坑のほかに、古墳時代後期までに堆積を終えた砂浜と考えられる包含層や河道を重層的に検出し、土器や金属製のヤス・刀子、根挟みや各種木製品の使用・廃棄の痕跡を確認した。
