Note (General): [関津遺跡要約] 縄文時代から近世に至るまでの遺物が出土し、主には飛鳥時代、奈良時代、平安時代末から鎌倉時代、そして室町時代末頃の４時期に大別できる遺構を検出した。出土した遺物では縄文時代草創期の有舌尖頭器が最も古く田上平野における新たな石器資料となった。飛鳥時代の墨書土器は律令国家体制成立期の墨書土器としては初現期段階のもので、飛鳥地方との結びつきや杣としての田上山の開発、古代製鉄遺跡との関わりなどから注目すべきものである。平安時代末から鎌倉時代にかけての建物群などの遺構の在り方からは、この地域における地割施行を伴う農地開発の動向がうかがえる。また食膳具に大和型瓦器を主体とする当該期の土器の様相には、南山城地域や大和地域の影響を受けた地域色を見ることができる。
