Note (General): [南囲護台遺跡(第7地点) 要約] 市営住宅の建設計画に合わせ、平成21年度と22年度に分けて調査を実施した。調査の結果、住居群と掘立柱建物跡から構成され、営続期間は7世紀末葉から9世紀中葉までの集落であることが分かった。住居の中には小鍛冶を行ったものが含まれ、鉸具を所有していた。他にも墨書土器の文字から近隣の囲護台遺跡群を含む、同一台地上の北側集落とも密接な関係を持つことが判明した。
