Note (General): [水軒堤防要約] 　県指定史跡水軒堤防のうち江戸時代に築造された中堤防は、石堤と土堤及びその全面に敷かれる石敷で構成され、土堤高さが約5.0m、石敷を含めた堤防全体の敷幅27m以上、石堤については、天端幅3.5〜4.0m、敷幅約12m、高さ3.9〜4.4m、表法勾配約37度、裏法勾配50度前後であることが判明した。　築造時期は出土遺物から18世紀後半頃と考えられる。　県教育委員会による確認調査成果とあわせ、全長約1kmに及ぶ中堤防の全容がほぼ解明された。
