Note (General): [長岡京跡右京第984・988次・伊賀寺遺跡要約] 今回の調査では長岡京期と古墳時代・縄文時代の遺構を検出した。長岡京期の当地は右京八条三坊十六町にあたり、東西方向の溝・柱穴を検出した。この溝は東で７度北に振り、長岡京の条坊計画と方位を異にする。周辺では同時期の掘立柱建物跡や溝などが確認されており、長岡京の条坊関連遺構もしくは、宅地を画する溝と想定できる。古墳時代の遺構としては、後期の溝と落ち込み状遺構を検出した。周辺の調査では同時期の竪穴式住居跡が多く検出されているが、今回の調査では集落に直接関連する遺構は検出できなかった。縄文時代では、中期の北白川Ｃ式、後期の中津〜四ツ池式、北白川上層式３期、元住吉〜宮滝式、晩期の滋賀里\0式の竪穴式住居跡や土坑、ピットを検出した。小泉川流域では近年多くの縄文集落が調査されており、集落の移動に関しての資料が蓄積されつつある。今回の調査では、特に後期前葉の崖ＳＸ199から北白川上層式３期の土器が大量に出土した。今までの調査では同時期の竪穴式住居跡は確認されておらず、周辺に竪穴式住居跡が分布しているものと判断され、伊賀寺縄文集落内の時期別の変遷を考える上で重要な知見を得た。　 [美濃山廃寺下層遺跡第８次要約] 明確な遺構は検出できなかったが、縄文時代のポイントや弥生時代の土器及び石器の出土により美濃山廃寺下層遺跡の一端を明らかにできた。奈良〜平安時代の遺物は、美濃山廃寺との関係でとらえ得る遺物である。
