Note (General): 大阪国際空港給水設備工事に伴い調査を実施した。その結果、以下に記すように６時期にわたる遺構を検出した。Ⅰ期は古墳時代前期前半（庄内期～布留期前半）で、竪穴住居1基と若干の土坑、ピットを確認し、居住域であったことが明らかとなった。Ⅱ期は古墳時代前期後半（布留期後半）で、土器棺を検出した。Ⅲ期は古墳時代後期後葉で溝を検出したが、詳細は不明であった。Ⅳ期は古墳時代後期後葉～末で、溝とこれに連なる小溝を確認した。小溝は溝からの導水用の溝となる可能性があり、周辺に水田がひろがる可能性がある。Ⅴ期は飛鳥時代末～奈良時代で、数条の溝、十数個のピット、土器棺墓1基、井戸を確認した。Ⅵ期は平安時代で、耕作跡を確認し、生産域であったことがうかがえた。この他に須恵器の胎土分析し、奈良時代における千里丘陵西端部の集落分布についての検討を記す。
