Note (General): [塚場遺跡要約] 旧石器時代では遺物集中地点が1箇所、2点一対になる尖頭器を出土した地点が2箇所検出された。縄文時代の遺構では溝型の陥し穴土坑が多数検出され、この陥し穴は丘陵部などには造られず、台地状の地形に多くみられ、シカを対象としたものと考えられている。陥し穴から出土した炭化物を科学的に分析した結果、今から11000年以上前の縄文時代初頭に遡ることが判明した。また、縄文時代中期前半の竪穴住居跡と集石が検出された。竪穴住居は集石を壊して造られており、状況から壊された集石の礫は竪穴住居の北側に捨てられていた可能性が高い。竪穴住居がどのようにして造られたのかを知る具体的な事例となった。中世以降では、道や土地の境に造られた溝などが検出された。イモを貯蔵する長方形土坑には、今では造られなくなった断面形が台形になるものが多数検出され、近世・近代の土地利用の実態の一端が明らかにされた。
