Note (General): [太田・黒田遺跡要約] 発掘調査の結果、江戸時代の遺構面、古墳時代中期〜江戸時代と考えられる遺構検出面、弥生時代中期中葉と考えられる遺構検出面、弥生時代中期初頭と考えられる遺構検出面、弥生時代前期末と考えられる遺構検出面の合計5面の遺構面を確認した。今回の調査では、第2〜5遺構面でそれぞれ灌漑水路の可能性のある大溝を検出している。水路をのぞくと弥生時代の住居跡など居住域に関連する明確な遺構はない。そのため、遺構密度は集落の中心部に比べるとそれほど高くなく、集落縁辺部の生産域の様相を呈している。第2遺構面の水路と第3〜５遺構面のものは、前者が北東から南西、後者が北西から南東といったように流水方向が異なっている。これらの違いは、取水位置の違いが反映されているものと想定される。流水方向から考えると前者は現在の宮井用水につながるような和歌山平野全体の灌漑を行う水路の一部、後者は太田・黒田遺跡周辺のみを対象とした灌漑水路と想定され、弥生時代と古墳時代で灌漑システムに変化が生じている可能性を想定した。
