Note (General): [東禅寺・黒山遺跡要約] 　東禅寺・黒山遺跡は、古代から中世の時期を主体とする集落遺跡である。今回の発掘調査でも、平安時代後期から江戸時代初期にかけての掘立柱建物20 棟や土坑、溝等の遺構を多数確認することができた。遺構は調査区中央部に密集しており、特に調査区を東西に流れる比較的大きな溝ならびにその周辺の遺構から多量の遺物が出土した。　出土遺物は、古代から中世にかけての土師器や瓦質土器が中心であるが、中世前半期からの墓から烏帽子に塗布されたと考えられる漆膜が確認された。また、中世後半期の井戸から、小柄の完形品が出土した。　掘立柱建物跡の規模と数ならびに青磁・白磁の輸入磁器等が多数出土したことから、中世の集落としては比較的経済的に豊かな集団が居住していたものと考えられる。
