Note (General): [中恋路遺跡３要約] 中恋路遺跡は、低丘陵に囲まれた標高約40ｍ〜45ｍの谷底平野に所在する集落遺跡である。今回の調査地はその中央部に位置し、古墳時代、古代、中世の竪穴建物が各々１棟、古代から中世にかけての掘立柱建物、柱穴、土坑、溝、墓等が多数検出された。特に調査区南西部には奈良時代後半から平安時代にかけての遺構、中央部には鎌倉時代から室町時代前半にかけての遺構が密集しており、居住地をわずかに移動しつつ継続的に生活が営まれていたことがわかる。また、製塩土器や緑釉陶器等の出土は、幅広い流通および官衙的な役割をもった施設の存在を感じさせるものである。中世においては埋葬施設の副葬品から、被葬主が地域の有力者であったことがうかがえる。
