[バーガ森北斜面遺跡要約] バーガ森北斜面遺跡は、標高30〜90mの丘陵上に開けた弥生時代中期末の山の集落遺跡である。今回の調査では、三世庵地点、岩神地点の2地点の発掘調査が行われ、弥生時代中期末を中心とする竪穴建物跡が検出された。これらは、各地点に展開する集落単位の様相を知る貴重な成果といえる。出土遺物は、弥生時代中期末を中心とする土器・石器などであり、土器では「南四国型甕」と呼ばれる在地系要素のつよい甕が多数出土した。石器の中では生産具である石包丁が比較的多く出土した。こうした生産道具の他に、投弾や大型打製石鏃など武器類も出土しており、「高地性集落」の性格を抽出するための成果があった。
