Note (General): [上原?遺跡要約] 南に広がる傾斜地に展開する縄文時代前期初頭（花積下層?式期）の集落跡。西側隣接地は、長野原町教育委員会により調査が行われ、同期の竪穴住居9軒が検出されている。検出例の少ない、同時期の集落として注目される遺跡である。その他平安時代の住居4軒を検出。　 [上原?遺跡要約] 南に広がる傾斜地に、鍛冶遺構を伴う平安時代の集落が展開する遺跡。両側は町教委の調査で平安時代の集落が検出されている。今回の調査はこの集落中央部の狭隘な部分の調査であり、平安時代の住居1軒と、掘立柱建物、土坑を確認。　 [林宮原遺跡要約] 吾妻川河川崖を南に臨む緩傾斜地形に立地する。13棟の中近世の掘立柱建物群を主な遺構とする。東西2群の建物群で構成され、主要な建物は東西棟を中核に重複も多く建て替えも示唆された。1号掘立柱建物柱穴1基は柱材を残す。
