Note (General): [前領家遺跡要約] 　前領家遺跡は大宮台地北西部に位置し、荒川支流の石川堀によって形成された谷地に面して立地する。調査によって、縄文時代から中・近世に及ぶ遺構を検出した。　縄文時代では、縄文時代中期末葉〜後期初頭（加曾利E?〜E?式期）の住居跡が検出された。柄鏡形住居跡が多く、炉体土器や埋甕を伴う。この時期の集落跡として貴重な調査事例となった。　古墳時代では前期の住居跡１軒を検出した。　平安時代では９世紀後葉から10世紀前葉の住居跡が検出された。住居跡からは、鍛冶炉や関連遺物が出土し、鉄製品の出土も多かった。カマドの構築材には緑泥片岩を使用したものが多く、大宮台地では特異な様相を示している。出土した土器類にはロクロ土師器や羽釜が多く認められる。
