Note (General): 自動車専用道路建設に伴い調査を実施した。調査の結果、縄文時代の石器集中部を２か所検出した。今回の事例は、主に目的剥片の獲得作業場と思われ、石器製作過程や製作址における遺物の残存状況を示す事例として貴重である。また前回の調査に引き続き（『河原城遺跡Ⅰ』）、古墳時代後期～飛鳥・奈良時代にかけての竪穴住居２棟、掘立柱建物12棟などを検出し、７期にわたる集落変遷を想定した。平安時代以降は遺構・遺物とも希薄となる。
