Note (General): 古墳時代後期6世紀後葉を中心とする竪穴建物を10棟確認。この集落内部では脂肪酸分析の結果ヒト（乳児？）を葬ったと類推される土器棺を検出。集落西側の段丘緩斜面で方墳を複数確認しており、小児墓は集落に接して、成人墓は集落西側にと分離した状態で墓域が形成されている。段丘東側斜面の開析谷の湧水地点では完形須恵器が廃棄されており、この谷が主要な水汲み場であった可能性が大きい。飛鳥時代には、２×３間の掘立柱建物が基調となり、建物構造は竪穴建物から掘立柱建物へと変化する。古墳時代以来の建物配置を基本的に踏襲するが、徐々に主軸を南北方向にそろえる傾向をみせ、集落構造に規格性を見せ始める。奈良時代には、掘立柱建物群は主軸を南北方向にそろえた規格性の高い配置へと変化する。建物群の周囲では鍛冶炉の下部構造とみられる土坑が検出され、フイゴ羽口、鉄滓などが出土することから周辺で鍛冶作業などの金属加工が行われていたと考えられる。
