紡錘形を呈した旧国鉄操車場跡地の北側に、営業線を付け替えるために実施した試掘調査である。5.2ｍ四方の試掘トレンチを７か所設定し、深さ６ｍまで掘削した。 　その結果、各トレンチとも近代から弥生時代にかけての遺構面を確認し、部分的には洪水砂が厚く堆積するところもあった。各トレンチとも弥生土器・土師器が...
