Note (General): 道路付け替え工事に伴い調査を実施した。その結果、弥生時代中期以前から近代にかけての流路、農耕関連遺構などを検出した。その中で、特に注目されるのが４面で検出した七ツ門古墳である。墳丘は鎌倉時代の島畠形成時に削平されたようで、横穴式石室の基底石の一部が遺存していた。石室内外を覆う包含層中から、鉄製鎗片、須恵器、耳環、滑石製紡錘車などが出土した。出土遺物などから６世紀中葉前後に築造されたと考えられる。
