Note (General): [鶴牧遺跡要約] 遺跡は、ちはら台ニュータウン造成地域の南端、村田川の河口から７kmほど上流の右岸台地上に位置する。立川ローム層第2黒色帯〜立川ローム層のハードローム層で3枚の文化層を確認した。第1文化層は、立川ローム層第2黒色帯（7層〜9層）を中心に包含される石器群で、ナイフ形石器、楔形石器、削器、加工痕ある剥片、使用痕ある剥片、石刃、局部磨製石斧、敲石、剥片、砕片、石核、礫が出土している。第2文化層は、立川ローム層のハードローム層（4層下部〜5層）を中心に包含される石器群で、ナイフ形石器、掻器、加工痕ある剥片、石刃、敲石、台石、剥片、砕片、石核、礫が出土している。武蔵野台地の4層下部の石器群に概ね相当すると考えられる。ほかに、帰属時期不明の上層遺構等から出土した遺物・土坑・炭化物集中地点が見つかっている。
