[飯積原山遺跡要約] 飯積原山遺跡は、印旛沼に近い高崎川及びその谷部に北面する台地上に立地する。縄文時代は中期中葉から後期初頭を中心とした時期で、遺跡の北側にフラスコ状土坑、円形土坑を伴う住居跡群が展開する。今回報告した地区を時期別に見ると、加曽利E1期からE2式期の集落は、台地縁辺に近い北東側に3カ所分布する。加曽利E2-3式からE3式古段階期は遺構がほとんど見られなくなる。加曽利E3式中段階期になると集落が復活し、広範囲に住居跡、土坑が分散する。その範囲は大きく2カ所に分かれるが、東側は加曽利E4式古段階で終わるのに対して、西側は称名寺式期まで継続していることが判明した。土器は、集落の消長と比例して勝坂式末期、いわゆる中峠式、加曽利E1式古段階のものが多く出土し、多数の完形、半完形土器が得られた。加曽利E3式中段階は、梶山類の好例が出土している。加曽利E3-4式段階は豊富な資料が得られた。この時期の特徴的な土器を始め、加曽利E4式の口縁部微粒起線区画の祖型となった貼り付け微粒起線などの粗製土器が多数出土し、両者が供伴する良好な一括資料が得られた。加曽利E4式も古･中･新の各段階が確認でき、称名寺式に先行する西日本由来の土器も出土した。土製円板は、有孔、無孔の両方があり、所属時期は加曽利E3式中段階から3-4式段階であることが判明した。石器は、剥片石器では石鏃･石鏃未製品･楔形石器、礫石器では、磨製石斧、磨石類が多く出土した。
