Note (General): [日秀遺跡要約] 昭和52年12月から同53年10月まで県立高校建設に伴う事前調査で検出された古墳時代後期の大規模な集落とともに奈良･平安時代の掘立柱建物跡倉庫群から相馬郡衙が想定された。それに伴い千葉県教育委員会では、昭和54年に続いて、周辺の遺構確認のために昭和55年度も引き続き確認調査を実施した。今回に調査では、東側の郡衙区画溝の一部が検出された。また、奈良･平安時代の大規模な集落も検出された。
