Note (General): [飯積上台遺跡要約] 飯積上台遺跡は高崎川及びその谷部に面する台地上に立地する。縄文時代･古墳時代の集落、古墳群などが発見された。旧石器時代の石器集中地点は、7層中部で石刃技法を基盤に玉髄の割合が高い第1文化層と7層下部〜6層で横長剥片技術を基盤に珪質頁岩の割合が高い第2文化層の2カ所である。縄文時代の集落は前期黒浜式の竪穴住居跡が5軒、中期加曾利E式の竪穴住居跡3軒である。古墳時代の集落は中期、5世紀中葉から後葉の時期と、後期、6世紀末から7世紀前葉の2時期のものである。中期の集落は竪穴住居跡4軒、後期の集落は竪穴住居跡5軒で、ともに小規模な集落である。古墳は2基検出され、飯積上台1号墳は周溝内土坑から出土した蛇行剣により、5世紀中葉から後葉の時期の古墳と思われる。飯積上台2号墳は出土土器から6世紀前葉を下限とする古墳である。奈良･平安時代の竪穴住居跡は2軒であるが、推定される暦年代が8世紀後葉と9世紀後葉〜10世紀であり、1世紀以上の差がある。立地も離れており、各々単発的なあり方である。
