Note (General): [栗山川流域遺跡群要約] 栗山川流域遺跡群では丸木舟の出土を想定し確認調査が実施されたが、実際には検出することができなかった。遺物では少量ではあるが縄文時代中期から後期を主体とする土器と木杭等が出土した。1カ所にまとまって出土した木製品は本来、木杭列をなしていたものと考えられ、時期は縄文時代にさかのぼる可能性がある。　 [宝米遺跡要約] 宝米遺跡の上層では攪乱がひどく、時期を特定できない土坑と溝を検出したのみで、遺物量も極めて少量であった。下層の旧石器時代では、小規模な石器集中地点が1カ所検出された。石器群の時期は立川ローム層10層上部に相当し、周辺地域では最古級の資料の一つである。石材は玉髄を主体とし、石器製作技術の特徴として両極技法と横長剥片生産技術の共存が挙げられる。
