Note (General): [北海道遺跡要約] 旧石器時代では、面的な発掘調査を通して検出したブロックは標高13.5ｍを境に低位置に2期、高位置に1期と時期に違いによるブロックの立地条件の相違が把握できた。弥生時代では、沖積地を挟んで位置する権現後遺跡とは対照的に竪穴住居跡1軒のみの検出に止まったため多くを記述できないが、立地条件の相違が集落構成の上で大きな影響を持っていたことが推測できた。古墳時代では、滑石製模造品工房跡を検出でき、専業的生産集団の一端を明らかにすることができたと同時に、大量生産にかかる技術的側面がうかがわれた。奈良･平安時代では、実年代を考える上で貴重な資料を得ることができた。
