Note (General): [道免き谷津遺跡第１地点(7)〜(9) 要約] 道免き谷津遺跡は、国史跡堀之内貝塚直下の谷津に位置する低湿地遺跡である。第１地点(７)〜(９)と遺跡全域を対象とした確認調査では、木本質泥炭層の下部から、縄文時代後期前半を中心とした土器、石鏃、楔形石器、磨製石斧、打製石斧、磨石類及び石皿等が出土した。クラムシェルによる確認調査では、弥生土器が出土しており、新事実として注目される。そのほか植物遺体等、古環境を復元するための貴重なデータが得られた。
